1. Our Commitment to Consumer Anonymity

Been Dicked was created to protect consumers from retaliatory legal threats, aggressive debt collectors, and retaliatory harassment. We treat reporter confidentiality with maximum legal gravity.

2. Mandatory PII & HIPAA Redaction Protocol

All consumer submissions undergo strict automated and manual Personally Identifiable Information (PII) scrub filters before public archival:

• Reviewer Names: Converted to First Name + Initial (e.g., "Susan K.") or listed as "Anonymous Consumer".
• Medical Data (HIPAA): Medical record numbers, sensitive diagnoses, and patient account IDs are permanently expunged.
• Financial PII: Bank routing numbers, full credit card numbers, and Social Security Numbers are strictly redacted.
• Contact Info: Personal mobile phone numbers, personal email addresses, and residential home addresses are stripped.

3. Information We Collect

When you visit or use Been Dicked:

• Direct Submissions: Information you choose to provide in report forms (business names, incident dates, amounts paid, verbatim narratives, proof documents).
• Technical Logs: Minimal standard server connection headers (IP address, browser user-agent) strictly for DDoS prevention, rate-limiting, and security enforcement through Cloudflare Edge.
• No Trackers or Ad Cookies: We do not use third-party advertising trackers, pixel beacons, or data brokers.

4. We Never Sell Consumer Data

Been Dicked does NOT sell, rent, monetize, or trade consumer information, submitted evidence, or browsing history to data brokers, marketing firms, credit agencies, or listed commercial entities under any circumstances.

5. Security & Edge Encryption

All network traffic to Been Dicked is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / HTTPS managed across Cloudflare’s global edge network. Database backups and evidence vaults are isolated from public direct access.
